At my church, I make song recommendations to the pastors for their preparation of the service each week, and my suggestions are largely
lectionary based. If we would establish a routine of lifting up and affirming new worship songs for use in Lutheran worship, I would think that it would be appropriate to suggest that they are suitable for use with certain Scripture readings, Sundays of the church year, and so on.
But I also think that recommendations concerning topics, occasions, situations, would also be very helpful. As I continue to reflect, perhaps two or more tracks would be useful: one which centers on songs (or other resources) with commentary and recommendations for use, and another based on the lectionary with suggestions for musical and other artistic resources appropriate to the day. Would you want to actually structure WorshipConcord in this way, either within or alongside of the WorshipConcord Journal?
Just a few thoughts on how WorshipConcord might serve as an LSB companion.

This is a helpful suggestions to keep in mind as we develop the Studio as a user defined, user friendly element of the WorshipConcord project. JAW
